Every woman we know is trying to lose weight, even the skinny girls.

While neither of us are technically experts, we’ve both lost a significant amount of weight in the past 12 years — and kept it off! — so we know a thing or two about what does or doesn’t work for real, normal women.

More than that though, weight is a major focus of the conversations we have or overhear at work, out shopping or eating dinner. As such, we thought we’d create a place for us, our friends and anyone else who wants to share their struggles with weight and body image. Over the course of one year, we hope to reach our personal goals, evaluate our experiences, and create a valuable resource for healthy weightloss, staying motivated, and developing sensible eating and exercising habits.
